Our Dance School
The Goodman Dance Academy is one of the most successful and longest running dance schools in Kent. Its proprietor Len Goodman, Head Judge for many year on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With The Stars in America, has been involved with all forms of dance at the studio for many decades.
We run classes in all styles of dance, for all levels of ability and for all ages. Whether you are an experienced dancer looking for new challenges or a beginner who has never danced a step in your life, you will find we have lots to offer you. Our Studio
Our highly equipped studio offers a light, bright and fully air-conditioned environment in which too learn to dance. Mirrored walls and mood lighting help to create a rich ambience within the studio and our Harlequin maple sprung floor makes it a delight too dance on.
We’re conveniently located just off of the M25, only a short walk from Dartford Train station and have plenty of car parking nearby.

Class Schedule
Private Lessons
Private tuition is available at our studio where you can learn on a one to one basis with a qualified dance teacher. This allows you to learn quicker than in a class environment and enables those who may be a little nervous, to gain confidence in their dancing. Private tuition also allows those who cannot commit to coming to a class on a regular basis, to take dance lessons at a more convenient time to them and also allows those who do miss a class, to have a catch up lesson.
Wedding Dances
When you and your partner take to the floor for your first dance together, everyone will be watching! Do you want to surprise your friends and family? Why be nervous?
The Goodman Dance Academy offers one to one dance lessons to create a unique first dance. You can either choose your music, or we can help you to find the perfect track.
Whether you see it as an ordeal to endure or a great way to have fun together. We can prepare a dance just for you, at a level that you are comfortable with. The Goodman Dance Academy can give you the confidence to feel relaxed on the dance floor on your special day.
